A. Lune – Psychological Thriller Author
I am a psychological thriller and psychological romance author with a foundation in theater, screenwriting, and English literature. My work is driven by psychological tension, moral ambiguity, and emotional restraint, with a strong emphasis on structure, implication, and character control rather than overt spectacle.
I began in theater at a young age, working as a child actor on stage in Iran and later transitioning into screenwriting during my teenage years. That early background in performance and dramatic writing shaped my understanding of character psychology, pacing, and narrative discipline. Before entering university, I completed formal training in screenwriting, theater, and acting, establishing a technical foundation that continues to inform my fiction.
I studied English literature at Tabriz National University, where I shifted fully from writing in Farsi to writing in English. My academic focus on classic and Victorian literature sharpened my interest in restraint, subtext, and psychological depth, influences that remain central to my work. During this period, I also led screenwriting and storytelling groups in an academic setting, guiding narrative development and critique through programs at Universities.
Following my graduate studies, I worked as a ghostwriter on several short thriller novellas for authors in Iran, developing precision, pacing, and psychological clarity under strict constraints. Since 2023, I have focused exclusively on my own long-form fiction. I am currently developing my debut novel, a psychologically driven work that reflects my long-term commitment to controlled storytelling, slow tension, and emotionally unsettling narratives.
My writing favors implication over exposition, obsession over melodrama, and atmosphere over plot mechanics. I approach fiction deliberately, with an emphasis on revision, structure, and psychological realism, aiming to create stories that linger rather than resolve cleanly.
