About A. Lune

A. Lune is an Iranian-born author based in South Korea, writing psychological thrillers with dark romantic elements. Her fiction explores obsession, power, survival, intimacy, and the uncomfortable places where love and control begin to resemble each other.

Storytelling started long before novels. She worked as a child actor before moving into theatre and screenwriting as a teenager, later earning an MA in English Literature. After writing in Farsi, she eventually made the shift to writing fiction in English.

Her stories are drawn to complicated women, morally difficult choices, and characters who refuse to disappear quietly. Her current novel, A Thousand Red Hours, is a psychological thriller with dark romantic elements.

She lives in South Korea, where she writes with too much coffee, too many notebooks, and the firm belief that fictional people can always make one more terrible decision.
